Dream Narrations

Joel Akin

I am in a huge house, almost bigger then the eye can see. It is divided into three parts. One huge room to the North and below that two rooms divided in the middle with only one door between the two. The upper room has a large furnace towards the western part of the building. Pipes sprout out of it and they travel in all directions. There are more connections then an octopus has arms. I only see a few young girls sitting at a table reading books as if in leisure. I place all my belongings next to the furnace and travel to the Western half of the lower room. I stand in the partition between east and west rooms and look around me. The two rooms are surrounded by huge numbers of windows and I can not only see the people in both rooms but can see beyond to dark skies. The Eastern half of the room is suddenly evacuated and I help move my aunt, who lives in Northeast United States, to the Western room. Everyone can see the danger coming to the Eastern half of the room and evacuates it quickly. Soon the West room is crowded with people hunkering down and busy preparing for the storm.

Suddenly I hear it. It sounds exactly like a scouring brush being moved in circles. Consistently. Methodically. Closer and closer. A whitish tornado hits the lower half of the Eastern room and begins to demolish the building. Not too quickly but relentlessly nonetheless. Window by window the tornado moves. Back and forth, as if someone erasing a blackboard of old writings. It did not miss a single portion of the lower half of the eastern room, nor did it deviate one iota from its path. As if guided by unseen hands.

Everyone in the Western half of the room is hunkered over as the storm begins and none are looking through the windows. Far, far to the west I see the strees of a city or large town. On each side of the streets are not houses but businesses. Banks, restaurants, clothing and jewelry stores, theaters and so on. Suddenly, out of the sky drops a second white tornado. It begins to demolish the businesses one by one. I can see that the tornado is coming directly towards the western half of the building(not the Northern Part).

I begin to yell and scream, trying to get the attention of the people to the coming disaster. Yet they are so wrapped up in their troubles that they cannot see the further disaster scouring towards them and ignore me.

Just before I awake I can see behind the white tornado three black tornado's following in single file.
