I was standing on a sandy beach. It seemed to be in the tropics because there were mangrove trees with roots exposed hanging over the waves. Those trees were like walls behind me and surrounding the beach. Before
me was a very high chain link fence. On the fence, way above my head, was a sign. There were no words that I could see but there were two black horizontal marks. One mark stood higher then the other and immediately
I knew the two marks were symbolic of previous floods and how high they had reached. Neither was higher then the tall fence.
In the dream I knew another flood was imminent, worse then anything the fenced in land had seen before, and I did not know if I would survive. Sure enough the flood came in and I watched as it reached and
then surpassed the previous flood marks. For whatever reason when the waters came in they did not breach the chain links until the water had risen above the fence and the barb wire. I stood there as the waters
rushed in but but God provided a way of escape via a simple inner-tube that carried me safely over a low section of the fence.
There seemed to be several small 'islands' of safety that survived the flood and I joined a group of survivors. We were surrounded by more of those trees with their large roots.
Update July 7, 2004
I have thought about this dream often. It is significant for a number of reasons. First I was having this dream at the exact moment the first and
second planes struck the towers in New York City. I do not believe though that the flood marks are referring to these airplanes for several reasons. First I believe this dream is prophetic of what is yet to come. It
is possible that the first two marks refer to World War I and II and that when the planes struck it signified the beginning of WWIII. If that is the case, and I still believe it is possible, then we are now in the
third world war. How long this war will last is the question I don't know but according to the dream the war will impact America in every way. I do not think there is another nation on Earth that has experienced two
major floods and is now in stages of a third and is surrounded by a fence that promises security. Remember, the devastation does not come until it breaches the fence.
