What is it? When men or others take the 'glory' of an event or deed and transfer it to another party. For example when Jesus was in the temple on the Sabbath he wanted to heal the man with the withered hand and did so. The spiritual leaders immediately cried out this must be an act of Satan thus taking the glory away from God.

Or when Satan presents himself as an angel of light or as GOD he thus transfers the glory to himself that belongs to God. Or when people channel or do other new age practices and thank God for those gifts they are giving or transferring the glory to God for something which belongs to Satan.

God brought it up because of my dreams. I have been struggling all week striving to get a breakthrough. Every moment was a battle. The minutes seemed to pass like hours unlike normal. I could not understand what was hindering me. Last night God showed me that because Satan had convinced me that these dreams might be from him I had transferred the glory to him when it rightfully belonged to God. I had thereby created doubt and doubt became something in which Satan could start a stronghold in my mind thus blocking my spiritual growth with God. When God showed this to me I repented and was absolutely amazed how such a 'small' thing could be such a relationship blocker. And in addition how Satan could use it against me. I did not have a clue. Not a one. Nor did I see how ST could dishonor God in this. But by accepting that God is the author of these dreams, and repenting of my doubt, the relationship was restored to fullness once again and Satan lost his hold. The deeper I get with God the more awestruck I am with His teaching and understanding. God showed me how this principle of ST also puts Him in a box. Because a person cannot discern if it is of God or Satan they throw it all away as being OF Satan. Thus if God wanted to do something out of the ordinary He would have to find someone who would let Him out of the box the rest of the church has Him in. Even talking like this to some Christians would make them uncomfortable because they already 'know' what God can and cannot do. If its not in the Bible its outside Gods capabilities. Eye has not seen nor earth heard....and yet we are arrogant enough to put God in a box. God help me.
