Prophetic Dream

  I saw two countries in my dream.One was the country of Sudan and one to the bottom and left that did not have a name. To the left of Sudan was another large country and some type of barrier. In the lower left corner was connected a smaller, “Twin” country but when I tried to see its name I realized there was none.(Now the Central African Republic) Each country had a ‘lake’. Sudan’s was on the left side. It covered about 10% of the country. In the unnamed country the lake covered the center filling it to about 25% of its size. What I saw next were as if I were viewing the events from orbit.

The countries were covered with rippled, beautiful even, blowing, gold colored sand. The lakes began to turn milky with salt appearing around the edges. As I watched the salt increased til the water took on a white color. Then the lakes began taking on a red tinge, like blood, until the salt and blood had polluted the waters. There appeared(my hand) a giant hand which rested momentarily at the top of Sudan, next to Egypt. The hand moved across the surface of the sand and polluted lakes, not hesitating until the two countries had been smoothed. The hand continued intermingling the sand and waters until the land was totally mixed. The pollution had gone deep though, and the mixing had so polluted the land that they were now fully corrupted.

There was a slight pause, then the hand dug deeply into the soil at the lower part of Sudan. As the hole deepened the polluted sands revealed dark soil and pure water.

Supernaturally, or so it seemed, the polluted countries were covered in good soil and in pure water.

Various Interpretations

he country with no name is presently Central African Republic. The Lord said it had no name because it will receive a 'blow to the head.' In other words will lose its leader or leaders. The waters signify birth waters and the salt is the 'labor' and the blood signifies the increasing violence that will result from what is about to be birthed. Anyway, I have been still praying about this as the Lord has shown that I will play a part in what is to happen. Perhaps for now just to pray as you seem called. "Peter

Dear Joel, I was very interested in your dream regarding Sudan posted on

Andrew Strom's prophetic mailing list. I am an intercessor for Sudan. At

one stage I was on two Sudanese mailing lists, following the events in the

country. The country is about 20% christian, but with a muslim majority

and a repressive Islamist government. The government soldiers have

crucified some christians, raped the women, and taken away their children

and some adults into slavery. The government does not allow relief

supplies to pass to the southern part of the country where the majority of

the christians live. This part of the country is currently suffering a

harsh famine, partly because of drought, but also because the people are

displaced from their homes, their cattle and their crops because of the

civil war. The main opposition group is the SPLA (Sudanese Peoples

Liberation Army), but there are other groups as well. These groups have

captured some important towns and much of the south is in their control.

The south of the country is mainly christian, but many are animistic as

well. these people are mainly Nubian - dark skinned people, whereas the

north mostly consists of Muslim Arabs. There are some christians in the

north as well, and they really suffer. They are pushed into slum areas on

the outskirts of Khartoum and their buildings knocked down. Their children

are forced into Islamic schools and forced to cite the Koran.

I don't fully understand the dream, but I think the 25% lake represents the

christians, and the sand the muslims. The south christian area has been

devastated (salt) by the war with much bloodshed. The southern area is or

was well forested and is believed to be rich in oil and minerals (digging)

- that is why it is so important to the Arabs - much of the north is just

desert (sand). I have no idea what the hand is. This really intrigues me,

because no nations are really trying to help the south, although Uganda

does cooperate with allowing relief efforts to pass through into southern

Sudan. I think the dream may be a positive one, giving hope to the

chrstian south, but negative toward the government - blood in the sand.

As for the nameless country, the boot shape suggested Saudi Arabia, but it

is to the north of Sudan, not the south, and it certainly does not have 50%

christians! Is it nameless, because it is yet to exist, perhaps a

breakaway part of another country?

country! It seems to me that God wants YOU to be an intercessor for Sudan

too.
